Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of AsyncPrep (the website at asyncprep.com, the web app and the Chrome extension), operated by Hinto App, 381 Desrochers Ouest, Chertsey, Quebec J0K 3K0, Canada ("AsyncPrep", "we"). By creating a workspace or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
1. The service
AsyncPrep helps teams prepare meetings asynchronously: participants talk privately with an AI facilitator before a meeting, and AsyncPrep produces an anonymized brief, decisions and a final to-do list. The service is under active development; features may change.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- You sign in with a Google account and must keep it secure.
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner and is responsible for who they invite and how the workspace is used.
- Meeting guests can prepare without a paid seat.
3. Free trial, plans and billing
- New workspaces get a 14-day free trial.
- Paid plans are billed per user, per month, in advance, through our payment provider (Stripe). Prices are shown before you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time; the subscription then ends at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you and your team provide (prep conversations, agendas, meeting notes) and to the briefs and to-do lists generated from it. You give us the permission needed to host and process that content to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.
5. AI-generated content
Briefs, recaps, decisions and to-do lists are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them; the people in your meeting remain responsible for their decisions.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use AsyncPrep to break the law, to harass or deceive people, to collect people's data without a valid reason, to attempt to access other workspaces or our systems without permission, or to overload or reverse-engineer the service.
7. Connected services
AsyncPrep works with Google Calendar, Google Docs, GitHub and other tools you choose to connect. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. You can disconnect them at any time.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep AsyncPrep available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; for significant changes affecting paid plans, we will give workspace owners reasonable notice.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using AsyncPrep and ask us to delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, after notice when possible.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AsyncPrep is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer-protection laws give you and that cannot be waived.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
