Download the extension (.zip)

Version from 2026-10-05 · 30 KB · Google Chrome on a computer

Install it (2 minutes)

  1. Unzip the file into a folder you'll keep, for example Documents\AsyncPrep. Chrome runs the extension from that folder, so don't delete it.
  2. In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and turn on Developer mode (top right).
  3. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  4. Make sure Chrome itself is signed in with the Google account you were invited with (profile picture at the top right of Chrome).
  5. Open Google Calendar, click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar, pin AsyncPrep, open it and click Sign in with Google.

"Google hasn't verified this app"? That's expected while AsyncPrep is in testing. Click Continue.

Access denied? Your Google account must be added as a tester by the organizer. Ask them to add the exact address you use in Chrome.

Updating: download again, replace the files in your folder, then click the reload icon on AsyncPrep in chrome://extensions.
